Dan Petry, President
Dan initially took a position with SMT in 1991. He left in 1995 to earn his degree as an Ultrasound Technologist and returned in 1999. In 2004, he began a career at Siemens Healthcare for over 10 years as a Regional Sales Consultant. Lured back by the opportunity to be closer to his family, Dan returned in 2014 to work as an Account Executive to expand our current business.

Leo Dunlavy, Vice President
Leo started with SMT in 2017 as an Account Executive, Service Manager, and New Projects Coordinator. He comes from a 19 year career with John Deere Power systems utilizing his Mechanical Engineering degree in both applications and sales.

Lisa Becker, Office Manager
Lisa came on board with SMT in 2014. She has 29 years of Customer Service background and has a diploma in the Office Technology Assistant program from WITC-Rice Lake. Lisa oversees the Dispatching Team to provide excellent customer service and efficiency in scheduling our technologists to provide medical exams to multiple facilities in three states.

Kevin Waldhausen , Bemidji Regional Manager
Kevin has been working in the field of nuclear medicine since 1990. He earned his B.S. degree in Radiologic Technology in 1990 from the University of Mary and St Alexius School of Radiology. He has over 30 years experience in mobile radiology and has been with Shared Medical Technology since 2004.

Greg Lyga, Director of Molecular Imaging & RSO
Greg has been working in the field of nuclear medicine since 1997. He earned his B.S. degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Inc. in 1997 from UW-LaCrosse and began his nuclear medicine career at Shared Medical Technology immediately after. He trained under David Ricci and became Radiation Safety Officer in 2014. He is currently the Director of Molecular Imaging.

Tony Anderegg, Director of Ultrasound
Tony has decades of ultrasound experience after beginning his career with Shared Medical Technology in 1999. After earning his Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree from CVTC, he started at SMT as a sonographer, and is currently the Director of Ultrasound. His current position allows him to focus on his passion of providing excellence in both patient care and customer service.

Brian Simonson, Director of Echocardiography
Brian has decades of Echocardiography experience. After finishing his B.S. degree in Health and Human Performance in 1999, he went on to earn his Echocardiography degree in 2005 from St. Cloud Technical College. He joined the SMT team in 2006 and is currently the Director of Echocardiography.

April Winberg, SMT Manager of Imaging Services at Oakleaf
April Winberg, SMT Manager of OakLeaf Radiology Services: April has been working in the medical field since 2004 after obtaining a Medical Office Assistant, Transcriptionist Emphasis diploma with WTCS – Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, WI. In addition to this program, April was awarded a certificate for Software Specialist and continued education in 2008 to complete management courses. April supervises SMT contracted X-Ray, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, MRI, Dexa, 3-D Mammography, CT and Ultrasound services at OakLeaf Clinics – Pine Grove Family Medicine, OakLeaf Clinics – Eau Claire Medical Clinic, OakLeaf Clinics – Chippewa Falls, OakLeaf Clinics – OB/GYN, OakLeaf Clinics – Menomonie and OakLeaf Clinics – Ladysmith locations.

Steve Coppess MD, CEO
Steve joined SMT in 2024 as its CEO, serving concurrently as the CEO of Heritage Imaging. He has experience in providing healthcare in both rural and urban settings. Steve graduated from UW Medicine in 2020 and left clinical medicine to pursue a passion for improving access to care.
